Sadie Creese

Sadie Creese is Professor of Cyber Security in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford, where she teaches operational aspects of cybersecurity including threat detection and security architectures.

Wendy Nather

Wendy Nather is Head of Advisory CISOs at Cisco Secure. She was previously the Research Director at the Retail ISAC and analyst firm 451 Research. She led IT security for Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS) and Texas Education Agency. She is also an advisory board member for the RSA Conference, and serves on the board of advisors for ​Sightline Security.

Edwin van Andel

Edwin van Andel started hacking at the age of 13. Although he is now CTO of hacker company Zerocopter, his relationship with the hacker community is still the main driving force in his life. His dream to bring the brilliant minds of all hackers he knows together in one room and to hack everything that is brought in is something that he is getting closer to. In addition, together with the “Guild of Grumpy Old Hackers”, he is actively guiding and leading young hackers in the right direction in order to create his ultimate goal - a safe society through a safer internet.

Wouter Hindriks

Wouter is a Security Architect at Avit Group. He's a 20+ year ICT veteran and is also a boardgame & Sci-Fi enthusiast.

Wouter won the Cisco Award "Cybersecurity Defender of the Year" and is a valuable member of the selected group of Cisco Cybersecurity professionals called The League of Cybersecurity Heroes.

Rob van der Veer

Rob has a 30 year background in building secure software. At the Software Improvement Group, Rob established the security & privacy practice. He is involved in several standardisation efforts (e.g. OWASP SAMM, ENISA, CIP, ISO/IEC, and openCRE.org).

David Warburton

David Warburton is a security evangelist and manager of threat research with F5 Labs. He has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, starting life as a full stack developer before wrangling with the perils of cloud architecture and then moving the serene and peaceful life of cyber security. Warburton covers a wide range of topics from the deeply technical, such as cryptography, to the more real-world sociotechical side of security.

Dimitri van Zantvliet

Dimitri joined NS (Dutch Railways) last year as their Chief Information Security Officer. He has been in the field for 3 decades as CIO, CTO and CISO. His responsibilities span cybersecurity matters on governance, mobilitychains, IT-, IoT- and OT strategy and European Railway Cyber Projects. Next to that he is co-chair to the Dutch and European Rail ISAC. Dimitri holds a masters degree from the University of Derby and CISSP, CISA, CISM, CDPSE, CIPP/E, CIPM and FIP cybercertificates.

Topic: How to translate theoretical threats to physical mitigation. Dimitri van Zantvliet, CISO NS, will shine a light on Dutch Railway’s Ransomware approach.

Christian is an experienced policy adviser, with a demonstrated history of working on international trade, managing creativity & innovation, entrepreneurship policy and digital transformation at the Dutch, American and British governments.  Both in his studies and work, he has been continuously looking at how government can stay ahead of the curve by employing new innovative technologies and making sure to inspire and connect with its stakeholders, fundamentally grounded in scientific theory, macro/micro-economic analysis and experience in practice.

Connect2Trust

Connect2Trust offers a secure and trusted environment in which private parties that are part of Connect2Trust, together with government parties responsible for cybersecurity, can analyze and exchange sensitive and confidential information about cyber threats and best practices.

Digital Trust Centre

Set up in 2018 by The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK), the Digital Trust Centre's (DTC) mission is to make 2 million Dutch companies more resilient to increasing cyber threats. Everything from freelancers to large companies. 

Women In Cybersecurity Community Association

Our goal is to bring female cybersecurity professionals and security enthusiasts together and create a learning funnel for newcomers to join the field. We teach hacking, exploits, incident response, forensics, the low-level stuff, and especially make bad crypto jokes! We want to build a community of badass security women in the Netherlands and hopefully inspire future generations to join keyboards and get the hacking started!
